Sara Jebelli

I am Sara Jebelli, completed a Bachelor degree in painting. For many years, I have been presenting my artworks in my name in arts shops. It is almost seven years that I have chosen to work on glass and mirror as my major profession. My artworks include mirror frame, console, bracket, table, and other accessories. I consistently put effort into presenting my ancestor’s art, which is the delicate and beautiful collection of arabesques, lotus motif with buds and leaves, flower, bird, and calligraphy, to the contemporary audience in a new style and structure. In this way, I try to introduce original Iranian art to the world. Continuing the bright Iranian route which has never been to present the nature but to illustrate the origin and essence of natural forms and of the manifested design in the inner self, I also have improved the quality of my artworks collection by applying the rich and bright colors and delicate and harmonious drawings, which is the Iranian artist heritage. Furthermore, the drawings which I inspired by are also seen in other Iranian art such as illumination, tiling, carpet weaving, architecture, handicrafts. The primary design of my artworks was inspired by this immortal heritage, after a long-time research on the Iranian styles of art.  The mystical and fantastic nature of Iranian art merged with the glass and mirror clarity and then supported by my painting practice and experience in visual art followed by prominent scholars artists and active friends in arts to create the artworks that you observe.
