Illumination is a collection of creative and beautiful patterns which painters used to make the pages of the book more beautiful. And they decorated the sides and the layouts of the pages with branches, stems, flowers, and leaves. Flower and bird is an Iranian style. The flower has the position of beloved and the bird is the lover. Creating a harmony between the painting elements, in painting of flower and bird,  is very delicate. Since past, the flower and bird painting is seen on the surfaces of artworks such as on Qalamdan, mirror frame, small chest, book cover, and independent pictures in the form of painting.
